Makeleta Scrunchie

The Makeleta scrunchie is named after Caroline’s Tongan grandmother, to honor the women who pass down their craft from generation to generation. It’s a simple tribute to the grandmothers and mothers who inspire us.

Created in a beautiful Pacific collaboration, this scrunchie was printed by Laumei Leka NZ and sewn by Dearyu Sows. It was made to celebrate pride in culture, Tongan Language Week, and to honor our heritage.
